My furnace stopped working on a freezing cold day right before Christmas. I figured I was going to be out of heat for quite some time. Not only was it basically a holiday weekend, but my furnace was old, a weird model with multiple brands of parts, and missing most of its identifying stickers. I was stuck at work so my girlfriend (freezing, at home) took the initiative and called Jimmy Gusky’s LLC on a desperate, random Google search.

Tom, the serviceman managed to come out very quickly. He correctly identified the problem, plus a few other issues that might come up sooner rather than later. He knew what parts my furnace needed, was honest about what needed to be fixed vs what could be fixed but wasn’t critical, and didn’t recommend I replace the whole unit even though such a suggestion would have been a plausible diagnosis.  He was on time, met the schedule that he set, and communicated very well.

I got lucky and the broken part was locally available. By the next day, the heater was fixed. I approved the minor additional care that was suggested. Totally out of kindness, they even sent out a 2nd crew after the furnace was back online to do a quick system cleaning.  Just today, they called back to make sure everything was okay. Case closed, flawless victory. If only all contractors were so easy to work with.

update: I hired them again for some trouble with my hot water heater. Same experience.

Jimmy Gusky, LLC is the best. Had a recent problem with my heater. Called Jimmy Gusky, LLC received fast friendly service. The guy that came here was nice, clean and had answers to all my questions. This is not the first time I have used Jimmy Gusky, LLC….they are reliable and honest. I highly recommend them!

Jimmy Gusky, LLC did an excellent job in all aspects of the furnace installation. From the duct work, electrical, gas piping, everything was installed professionally. Very impressive! We called before 8 am, it was 25 degrees out and our old boiler was dead. Jimmy called back 20 minutes later, asked and answered a lot of questions patiently and helpfully, and said they could replace the boiler today, explained the different options. I called around, nothing better turned up. Two Jimmy Gusky guys showed up promptly, worked quickly, cleaned up well, replaced the boiler within a few hours of my call. The house is warm again and we are confident about this (not small!) investment we’ve just made for the next 25 years of heat.

quick response and fair pricing. I had my share of bad experiences with other companies so when lost the power in my house and I called Jimmy Gusky Llc I did not expect such a quick response and fair pricing. They were professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will recommend using them any time.

This guy is solid!  My furnace went out, it was freezing cold on a saturday. I called several furnace guys because I needed my heat back on ASAP.  Jimmy came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it before I even got a call back from the other guys.  I hope I don’t ever have another furnace problem, but if I do, I’m calling these guys first!
